Biola University ranks in lists of 2018 top colleges

Earned spot in top tier of the “best national universities”

Biola University has been named in two lists ranking the top 2018 universities.

The private Christian university once again earned a spot in the top tier of the “best national universities” category of U.S. News and World Report’s Best Colleges 2018 rankings, officials said in a written statement.

It was also named as one of the top 30 conservative Christian colleges and universities by Online Christian Colleges.

For more than 20 years, Biola has been included on U.S. News’ list of national universities, which consists of 311 institutions that “offer a wide range of undergraduate majors as well as master’s and doctoral degrees,” according to U.S. News. This year, Biola is ranked at No. 159 overall.

OCC puts Biola at 27. The list ranks schools’ online programs on a point system based on tuition, student-to-faculty ratio, Christian-related activities and coursework graduation requirements, and national recognition.
