The City of La Mirada offers arts and crafts classes from toddler age to older adults. While many of these classes have fees involved with them, there are a number of options that are free for adults.
Artists’ Studio (FREE)
Dedicate three hours each week to improve your artwork and yourself as an artist. Bring your own project and supplies. Work at your own pace, while you learn from your peers in a positive, art-driven atmosphere. The class is for adults age 18 and over and meets on Tuesday nights from 6pm-8:45pm in the Resource Center.
Arts and Crafts (FREE)
Unleash your creativity with a morning of arts and crafts! Students are provided the environment to work on solo and group projects. Participants must bring their own supplies. The class is for adults age 18 and over and meets on Wednesday mornings from 9am-11am in the Activity Center.
Art Student Meeting Class (FREE)
No two art students are alike. This class will provide you the environment to paint at your own pace and style. participants are encouraged to share drawing and painting techniques with one another. The class is for adults age 18 and over and meets on Tuesday mornings from 8:30am-1pm in the Activity Center.
