Tiny Tots classes a great way to prepare children for school

Designed to engage children through hands-on learning, active play, and socialization

Tiny Tots is a kindergarten readiness program offered through the City of La Mirada that engages children through activities, active play, and socialization at the Gardenhill Park and Windermere Park community centers. Participants are introduced to kindergarten readiness activities that encourage independence and academic exploration. Club Kindergarten and Tiny Tot teachers work with the local schools to prepare children for kindergarten.

Tiny Tots – Ages 3 to 4 (4 weeks)
Children will be introduced to preschool skills through hands-on learning, active play, and socialization. This class will build self-confidence, encourage independence and creativity, and aid in cognitive and fine motor development. Bring sack lunch and drink. All children must be potty trained.

Club Kindergarten – Ages 4 to 5 (4 weeks)
Club Kindergarten is designed to engage children through activities, active play, and socialization. Participants will be introduced to a variety of kindergarten readiness activities that encourage independence and academic exploration. Number recognition, phonics development, science, culinary arts, and literature are among the many areas of exploration and development. Club Kindergarten teachers work with the school district to prepare children for kindergarten. Bring a sack lunch and drink. All children must be potty trained.
