La Mirada is surrounded by some of the best family amusement parks in the world. One such park is Six Flags Magic Mountain, the “Thrill Capital of the World” and recently voted by USA TODAY readers as America’s Best Theme Park. The 260-acre theme park features 19 world-class roller coasters and over 100 rides, games, and attractions for the entire family.
Set to debut in the spring of 2018 and at a record-breaking 17-stories in the air, CraZanity is the world’s tallest pendulum ride. It will reach speeds up to 75-miles-per-hour, as it whips back and forth—higher and higher giving riders a staggering view of the world below them.
They will also be debuting the newly themed Boardwalk area with renovated attractions including enhanced bumper cars, dining, games, and shopping. The park also announced, beginning January 1, 2018, they will be open every day this year.
New in 2017, Magic Mountain premiered JUSTICE LEAGUE: Battle for Metropolis — Ride. Play. Triumph. The next generation of the award-winning Six Flags ride features a spectacular new finale, new game targets and the introduction of one of DC’s hottest Super-Villains, HARLEY QUINN.
Other world-class roller coasters and thrill rides are Twisted Colossus, the world’s longest hybrid coaster; Full Throttle, the world’s tallest and fastest looping coaster; LEX LUTHOR: Drop of Doom, one of the world’s tallest vertical drop ride; Tatsu, the tallest, fastest and longest flying coaster on Earth; and much more.
