Registration for La Mirada’s Summer Day Camp and Teen Camp is now open. Give your child a summer they will never forget! Camps will be held at Neff Park weekdays starting on June 11 through August 15, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with optional extended hours beginning at 7 a.m. and ending at 6 p.m. Weekly registration includes one fun excursion! The camps offer a wide variety of activities, including academic enrichment projects, crafts, water play, cooking activities, sports, and more.
Summer Day Camp – Ages 5 to 11
Summer’s just around the corner, and what better way to spend your time than having fun at summer camp! Each day will be filled with games, activities, crafts, water play, cooking activities, sports and much more! One fun excursion like a professional baseball game, the beach, or ice skating are included in the weekly fee. Children will need to bring a sack lunch with a drink. No camp 7/4.
Teen Summer Camp – Ages 11 to 14
Another fun summer in La Mirada is just around the corner! Come join our Teen Camp and enjoy activities that will offer a variety of recreational opportunities and social interaction with other teens. One fun excursion like a professional baseball game, the beach, or ice skating are included in the weekly fee. No camp 7/4.
Summer Camp Extended Care
Extended care is available for parents who need to drop off their children between the hours of 7-8 a.m. or pick up their children from 5-6 p.m. No camp 7/4.
Tiny Tots – Ages 3 to 4
The Tiny Tots program is designed to engage children through activities, active play, and socialization. This class is a fun-filled experience geared towards preparing students for kindergarten while encouraging language skills, motor development, and play. Students will learn through games, stories, crafts, and physical fitness. Classes begin on the first week of every month. Bring sack lunch and drink. All children must be potty trained. No class 4/3 and 4/5. Available at Gardenhill and Windermere Park community centers.
