Summer is just around the corner at Splash! La Mirada Regional Aquatics Center. The summer months provide the perfect weather to enjoy outdoor summer activities with the entire family. Check out these six fun summer activities at Splash! La Mirada:
Pirate Day Camp
Fridays | June 8 to August 3 | 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Children ages 8-12 can enjoy the full pirate experience at Buccaneer Bay. Under the supervision of City staff, the children will explore and seek hidden treasures. General admission is $28 and $17 for 2018 season pass holders. Lunch is included.
Family Friday Nights
Fridays | June 22 to August 10 | 3 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Attendees can enjoy Buccaneer Bay relaxing in the lazy river, riding the slides, or enjoying the spray area. Admission price for all ages is $16.95 and free for 2018 season pass holders.
Swim-In Movies
Sundays | Dates noted below | 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Families can enjoy a family-friendly movie in the warm summer nights. Water admission is $9 and deck seating is $6. Season pass holders receive free popcorn. Attendees encouraged to come early for good seats. Feature films include:
- Despicable Me 3 – June 24
- Coco – July 22
- Ninjago – August 12
- Moana – September 2

Splash! Family Camp
Friday, August 3 at 4 p.m. through Saturday, August 4 at noon
Families can enjoy camping out under the summer night at Splash! Buccaneer Bay. General admission (over 48″) is $36, juniors and seniors (under 48″/ages 60+) is $29, and 2018 season pass holders save $5. Dinner and breakfast is included.
Day or Season Pass
June1 – August 12 | 10:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
The family-fun “Buccaneer Bay” combines the excitement of a water park with pirate themed features throughout. Buccaneer Bay features a flowing river channel, three water slides, a children’s interactive play structure, zero-depth beach entry and two spray pad areas. Pirate themed elements include: a marooned ship, a dramatic skull rock, shade canopies that resemble sails, cannon walls, wharf plank benches, and crow’s nests. FREE parking and use of life jackets and tubes.
Splash! Birthday Parties
Looking for a fun place to celebrate a birthday this summer? Splash! La Mirada Regional Aquatics Center party packages are the ideal way to celebrate a birthday party. With a Splash! birthday party, all members will have full access to Buccaneer Bay. They can spend the day in the lazy river, riding the slides or playing in the spray areas. A children’s play area is the perfect place for those under 48”. Birthday packages may include the use of a semi-private picnic area for two hours or the option of an all-day deluxe shaded picnic area. Birthday packages are available for 10 or more guests at a special rate. The birthday child admission is free!
