The City of La Mirada invites you to attend two annual fall celebrations coming up during the month of October. There is fun for all ages at the western-themed Fall Festival and spooky Halloweenfest. Whether you grab your boots or a costume, take some time to have fun with your family, friends, and neighbors at one or both of these community events.
Saddle Up and Ride on Over to the Fall Festival
Dust off your cowboy boots and come join us at the annual Fall Festival hosted by the City of La Mirada. The event will be held on Thursday, October 11 at 10 a.m. at the La Mirada Activity Center, located at 13810 La Mirada Boulevard. seniors are invited to bring friends and enjoy a morning of music, dancing, and games.
Everyone is welcome to attend the event. Lunch will be available through Café on the Green for a suggested donation of $2.75 for seniors. Lunch reservations must be made by Monday, October 8 by calling (562) 947-8787.

Spooky Fun Returns to the Historical Neff Estate
La Mirada’s annual Halloweenfest will be held on Wednesday, October 31 from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at the historic Neff Estate. Over 2,000 people have attended this event in past seasons. This family-friendly event is great for children of all ages, and pets! Participants will enjoy costume contests, carnival-like games, crafts, and other fun activities. Hot Dog on a Stick will be on site. Additionally, pumpkins will be available for families to carve. Supplies are limited, so get there early!
The Neff Home, Carriage Barn, and George House are the only remaining buildings of Windermere Ranch, which supported a thriving olive and citrus industry. The Neff Estate is located at 14300 San Cristobal Drive.
