Eternal Flame Memorial in the Civic Center, the creation of Veterans Park, the Blue Star Program, as well as special events hosted throughout the year. One such event is the annual Salute to Veterans on Monday, November 5th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts. The public is invited to attend this special event, which honors our local veterans who have served and those currently serving in our military. The Salute to Veterans event will include military memorabilia displays, veterans’ resources, guest speakers, and a military banner retirement ceremony.
