Earl & Virginia Green Art Gallery Premiere

Earl & Virginia Green Art Gallery and the Gallery Practices class at Biola University is proud to present the exhibition “PECULIARITY: A Conglomerate of Eccentricities”. The exhibition will be on view November 12 through December 4, 2018. Celebrate the opening with a gallery reception on Monday, November 12th from 6-9pm! Everyday life becomes more extraordinary the more you think about it. Peculiarity seeks to examine the perspectives we hold by presenting the unusual in a new light. After all, what could be stranger than life? In addition to featuring artwork by student artists, the exhibition has been fully organized, juried, and installed by current students of the Biola Art program. Theule, Annika Tuttle, Jacob Vasa CURATORIAL TEAM: Rachel Ji, Torie Jones, Hannah Mosser, Jordynn Nusz, Kiahna Rodriguez, Trevor Treinen, Cherilyn Yujuico The Earl & Virginia Green Art Gallery is located on the Biola campus, near the bell tower and adjacent to Mayers Auditorium. The gallery is open Monday through Friday, from 9am to 9pm. Admission is free for all visitors. Campus visitors should enter campus at the main Biola University entrance on Biola Avenue. Parking for visitors is free with a visitor parking pass, obtained from the attendant at the entrance to campus. The Earl & Virginia Green Art Gallery presents a program of rotating contemporary art exhibitions on the campus of Biola University. Located in the greater Los Angeles area, the Green Art Gallery is well positioned to represent a vital Christian worldview within the critical dialogue of contemporary visual art and to produce engaging exhibitions that grapple with issues concerning the intersection of faith with art and culture.
