The La Mirada Library continues its tradition this week of free blockbuster movies to community residents. Tuesday’s movie features Hotel Transylvania 3 – Summer Vacation in their Pajama Party Movie Night series for children. Wednesday’s movie features Creed II in their Film Screening series. So grab the family and some friends to enjoy an evening at the movies.
Pajama Party Movie Night – Hotel Transylvania 3 – Summer Vacation
Put on your favorite pair of pajamas because it’s time for another movie night at the La Mirada Library! Come to the library for the screening of the mega monster hit Hotel Transylvania 3 – Summer Vacation this Tuesday, March 5th from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm. Movie nights are generously sponsored by the Friends of the La Mirada Library.
In Sony Pictures Animation’s Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, join our favorite monster family as they embark on a vacation on a luxury monster cruise ship so Drac can take a summer vacation from providing everyone else’s vacation at the hotel. It’s smooth sailing for Drac’s Pack as the monsters indulge in all of the shipboard fun the cruise has to offer, from monster volleyball to exotic excursions, and catching up on their moon tans. But the dream vacation turns into a nightmare when Mavis realizes Drac has fallen for the mysterious captain of the ship, Ericka, who hides a dangerous secret that could destroy all of monsterkind.

Film Screening – Creed II
The La Mirada Library invites you to a special screening of the hit sports drama film Creed II this Wednesday, March 6th from 5:30 – 7:45 pm.
In 1985, Russian boxer Ivan Drago killed former U.S. champion Apollo Creed in a tragic match that stunned the world. Against the wishes of trainer Rocky Balboa, Apollo’s son Adonis Johnson accepts a challenge from Drago’s son — another dangerous fighter. Under guidance from Rocky, Adonis trains for the showdown of his life — a date with destiny that soon becomes his obsession. Now, Johnson and Balboa must confront their shared legacy as the past comes back to haunt each man.
