Kenny Metcalf as Elton & The Early Years Band returns to La Mirada Theatre for the Performance Arts for two incredible shows on September 16 & 17, 2021 at 8 pm celebrating the music of Elton John! These concerts will feature special guest Caleb Quaye (one of Elton’s original guitarists).
Accomplished musician and vocalist, Kenny Metcalf recreates the multiple Grammy-winning legend and flamboyant superstar in each and every performance. Dazzling outfits, stunning vocals, and a spectacular backing band complete this phenomenal reproduction that brings the audience on an adventure of both sight and sound.
After being hand-picked to be featured on Mark Cuban and Ryan Seacrest’s AXS TV show “The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands,” Kenny Metcalf as Elton and The Early Years Band wowed a national audience during their live performance at The Roxy in Hollywood, CA. Kenny and his band are known for performing a technically accurate Vegas-style production, featuring the wildly popular music, costumes, and antics of the legendary Elton John.
Special guest Caleb Quaye played on seven of Elton John’s albums and toured with him from 1968-1978. He played on The Who’s Tommy album and has toured with Hall & Oats, and so many more. On “The Late Show with David Letterman” Eric Clapton said Caleb Quaye was the world’s greatest guitarist! Caleb will join Kenny onstage during this show along with a few other surprise special guests!
