All are invited to attend the “Mirrors of Your Mind” Art Show presented by the Arts Colony of La Mirada. The art exhibit will be open to the public starting on Monday, November 15th through Friday, November 19th from 9:00 am to 5 pm, at the La Mirada Activity Center.
The show will be judged by well-known artist, John J. (Jim) Salchak. An award reception will conclude the art show on Saturday, November 20 from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
The adult category is open to all artists 18 years and over who work in watercolor, mixed media, oil, acrylic, pastel, photography, and sculpture. All works must be original and may not have been previously submitted to this show. Art must be independently created. The Arts Colony of La Mirada is a non-profit 501c3 community art organization that was established in 1963. ACOLM holds monthly meetings that include art demonstrations which are free and open to the public. Meetings are usually held on the first Monday of the month from 6:30 – 8:30 pm at the La Mirada Resource Center. Membership is not required to attend meetings or enter open shows.
