How can you create a special father and son memory? The annual Father and Son Campout will be held at Neff Park on Friday, September 16th at 3 pm through Saturday, September 17th at 10 am. This annual event is a fantastic way for dads to spend some quality time with their sons outside their busy schedule.
Enjoy a fun night of bonding and taking part in camp activities under the stars. Campers will bring and set up their own tents. The event includes a campfire, S’mores, crafts, games, and an outdoor movie. Space is limited. Click here to sign up.
“Events like these are a fun way to build family and community relationships,” says Community Services Director Lori Thompson.
The cost is $40 for the campsite for up to four people. For ages 3 years and up. Campers can bring their own grills and food or purchase food for $15 per person, which includes dinner and breakfast. Purchased food consists of hamburgers/hot dogs, chips, and drinks for dinner and eggs, pancakes, sausage, juice, coffee, and bagels for breakfast.
Neff Park covers ten acres and includes three historic buildings, a gazebo, basketball court, tennis court, horseshoes pits, a playground, and picnic areas. The historic buildings include Neff Home, George House, and Neff Barn.
