The Biola Conservatory is proud to present “A Christmas Carol” and “A Glorious Morn” on December 8th and 9th at the beautiful La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts! The family-friendly performances of Charles Dickens’ timeless classic “A Christmas Carol”, and the musical performance featuring international opera artist Katie Van Kooten and nearly 200 Conservatory student musicians in “A Glorious Morn” is the perfect way to usher in the Christmas season.
Biola Theatre presents A Christmas Carol – Friday, December 8th at 2:30pm and 6:30pm.
A spirited theatrical event of opportunities missed, love lost, and hope renewed, A Christmas Carol is a ghost story that reveals the Scrooge in all of us that yearns for the joy and promise of Christmas.
Biola Music presents A Glorious Morn – Saturday, December 9th at 7pm.
This multimedia concert involving nearly 200 Conservatory student musicians, focuses on the rescue of God’s people through the glorious gift of His son, Jesus-Immanuel. Biola is honored to welcome International opera artist and Conservatory alumnus, Katie Van Kooten as the concert’s guest artist performing alongside the Biola Chorale, University Chorus, Symphony Orchestra, Symphonic Winds, and other Conservatory ensembles and soloists.
