A Memorial Day ceremony honoring those who have served and paid the ultimate sacrifice in America’s Armed Forces will be held on Monday, May 26 at 10 a.m. at Olive Lawn Memorial Park, located at 13926 La Mirada Boulevard.
The service will feature special presentations, guest speakers, a tribute to fallen soldiers, and the symbolic placing of floral wreaths by the City Council, community organizations, and Veterans of Foreign Wars and Auxiliary. This special service is presented by the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 9148, La Mirada Veterans Coordinating Council, and the City of La Mirada. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, as seating will be limited.
