While away on vacation this summer, La Mirada residents can ensure the safety of their homes and belongings by signing up for free Vacation Security Checks provided by the Public Safety Team. While you’re away, your residence will be included in regular patrols by the Public Safety Team checking for broken windows, open doors or other suspicious activity. Residents who are planning to have their home fumigated are also encouraged to sign up for security patrol checks.
Please submit the request at least five business days in advance of leaving on vacation. All information on the form must be completed in order for the request to be processed.
Click here to submit a Vacation Security Checks request through La Mirada’s website or use their mobile app. If you have any questions, call the Community Sheriff’s Station at (562) 902-2960 or visit the Public Safety office in person at 13716 La Mirada Boulevard between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
