The sooner you get started, the more money you can raise. The more money you raise, the more incentive prizes you earn. So register today and get ready for a great fundraising season.
This event brings the community together to honor cancer survivors, remember loved ones, and raise money to help fight cancer. Funds raised help the American Cancer Society to provide groundbreaking cancer research, critical patient care services, education and prevention initiatives, and much more.
Relay for Life is a team fundraising event where team members take turns walking around a designated path. Each team is asked to have a member on the path at all times to signify that cancer never sleeps. Cancer patients don’t stop because they’re tired, and for one night, neither do the participants.
Each team sets up a campsite at the event and continues their fundraising efforts by collecting donations for food, goods, games, and activities. This money will count towards their overall team fundraising goal.
Relay for Life is open to the public and community members are not required to be part of a Relay for Life team to participate in this worthwhile event. Click here for additional information on how you can join the fight against cancer.
