La Mirada Theatre Sound of Music

Tony-nominated La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts & McCoy Rigby Entertainment announces its upcoming shows with another exciting season of Broadway hits, concerts, comedy, and more yet to come! The season will include a number of shows that had to be canceled like Rodgers and Hammerstein’s masterpiece The Sound of Music and added some new events like the always hilarious comedy of Jay Leno.

The 2021/2022 upcoming season will feature:

CLUE – West Coast Premiere
September 24 – October 17, 2021

Bring your Game Night to La Mirada Theatre! It’s a dark and stormy night, and you’ve been invited to a very unusual dinner party. Murder and blackmail are on the menu when six mysterious guests assemble at Boddy Manor for a night they’ll never forget! Was it Mrs. Peacock in the study with the knife? Or was it Colonel Mustard in the library with the wrench? Based on the cult 1985 Paramount movie and inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue is the ultimate whodunit that will leave you dying of laughter and keep you guessing until the final twist. Rated PG.

It’s a community on the brink of change, full of hopes, dreams, and pressures, where the biggest struggles can be deciding which traditions you take with you, and which ones you leave behind. With a score by Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton), this hip musical will win you over with its sweet story and hot tunes! Recommended for ages 13 and up.
