Community members are invited to join cancer survivors and those who have lost loved ones at the annual La Mirada Relay for Life. The 12-hour relay is on Saturday, October 1st from 9 am to 9 pm and will be held at Splash! La Mirada Regional Aquatics Center.
Relay for Life is open free to the public and community members are not required to be part of a Relay for Life team to participate in this worthwhile event. Water slides are open from noon to 4 pm for $5.00. Trick or treat free with a costume. Enjoy music, food, raffles, craft sales, and more! 100% of the money raised goes to cancer research, programs, information, and services.

This event brings the community together to honor cancer survivors, remember loved ones, and raise money to help fight cancer. Relay for Life is a team fundraising event where team members take turns walking around a designated path. Each team is asked to have a member on the path at all times to signify that cancer never sleeps. Cancer patients don’t stop because they’re tired, and for one night, neither do the participants.
