La Mirada’s Spring Beautification Program recognizes efforts of property owners, businesses, houses of worship and schools to enhance the beauty of La Mirada through the upkeep of their properties. Volunteer judges canvass all La Mirada neighborhoods and select properties considered most deserving of recognition.
“Congratulations to this year’s winners and honorees,” says Community Services Director Oliver Osuna. “La Mirada remains an attractive community because so many residents take pride in maintaining their homes.”
An awards ceremony was held at the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts on Monday, June 26. During the ceremony, 16 Most Outstanding residential and commercial properties were recognized along with one Most Improved property. An additional 187 honorees were recognized for their properties.
