Turf renovation is currently underway at Behringer Park as part of the City’s efforts to enhance the park’s athletic fields and recreational amenities. The project includes replacing the existing turf with a more consistent, high-quality natural turf, upgrading the irrigation system to improve water efficiency, and improving the grading and drainage systems to address existing drainage issues. These enhancements aim to provide a safer and more enjoyable experience for park visitors and athletes by the spring season.
Behringer Athletic Facility North covers nine and a half acres featuring four lighted softball fields and two lighted overlay soccer fields. Behringer Athletic Facility South covers ten acres and includes four Little League fields (two of which are lighted), two lighted senior fields, and three overlay soccer fields (two of which are lighted).
