Southern California Seahorses and its 30+ years of working with soccer youth are partnering with the La Mirada Recreation Department to help our youth learn how to play the game of soccer in a wholesome and fun environment. So Cal Seashores are offering three soccer programs this fall at Neff Park. Soccer Newbies – 6 weeks (Ages 3 to 4) Let’s have fun and learn some soccer! This is an introduction class for our newbies! We want to make sure they have a positive and fun experience as they learn soccer basics to build on as they develop their soccer “career”! Having Fun with Soccer FUNdamentals – 6 weeks (Ages 5 to 7) Having fun is essential for learning at this age. We will focus on soccer’s technical fundamentals by practicing them while having lots of fun! Speed Up Your Soccer Game! – 6 weeks (Ages 8 to 10) We will focus on different ways in which a youth soccer player can speed up their game and help them to be a more impactful player for their team! Since 1983, the So Cal Seahorses have been impacting the community of La Mirada, as well as over 15 countries around the globe. Seahorses programs include numerous after-school clinics, recreation programs, summer and winter camps, international tours, PDL team, and many other outreach programs.
