Grab your fishing pole and come to the annual Youth Fishing Derby at La Mirada Park Lake on Saturday, September 18th from 7 am – 11 am hosted by Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn. Don’t miss a free day of fishing for kids ages 5-15 years old. The event begins with a first-come, first-serve pancake breakfast at 7 am. The fishing derby kickoff is at 8 am and goes until 11 am. Awards will be presented immediately after the Derby. A morning of fun for the entire family.

It is required to pre-register for this event. Click here to complete your reservation. Participants are requested to bring their own fishing pole. A limited number of fishing poles are available for loan. No fishing license is required. La Mirada Regional Park is located at 13701 Adelfa Avenue. Call (562) 902-5645 for more information.
